UPDATED MAY 2023: AHC COVID-19 Procedures
With the end of the COVID-19 public health emergency, Alchemy Healing Center continues to monitor the best ways to provide our clients a healthy environment for in-person appointments.
We are very grateful to have been able to serve so many of people through the COVID-19 health emergency and look forward to continuing to be a source of health and wellness in our community. Please read the following suggestions to ensure the safety of all our clients, practitioners and staff members:
-Mask wearing is now optional in our clinic.
-We will no longer have pre-appointment text screenings.
-If you have any cold/flu-like symptoms, we would ask that you please wear a mask in our clinic and that your practitioner also wears a mask during your treatment.
-We encourage our immunocompromised clients to request early morning appointments for minimal possible exposure.
– At anytime, if you are feeling vulnerable, you may request our practitioners and staff to wear masks during your visit .
Please feel free to call the clinic before your appointment if you have any cold or flu-like symptoms. We can discuss various options, such as converting your appointment to a telemedicine (virtual) appointment or rescheduling if you’d like.
Our Additional New Space
We are scheduling only one patient at a time to avoid any chance meetings in our public spaces. We are very fortunate to have a brand new set of rooms across the hall in our new Alchemy Healing Center (#107) space, so that we can have two appointments at the same time. We continue to monitor the necessity of these procedures and will make appropriate changes as needed.
Heightened Staff & Patient Screening
Anyone visiting Alchemy Healing Center is required to sign an on-line good-health declaration, before arriving. Our new appointment system makes this very easy. After you sign up to our new system, it will automatically send you the required form 24-hours before your visit. You must complete and sign this form before you come into the clinic.
In addition, if you are experiencing any symptoms such as fever, shortness of breath, or loss of smell or taste, we ask that you call or text us that day to reschedule your appointment or have a virtual appointment instead. For this reason, we have adopted a relaxed cancellation policy. Additionally, if you have tested positive for COVID-19, travelled to a high-risk state, or have come in contact with someone who has recently tested positive, we ask that you wait 14 days or receive a negative test before coming in to see us. We’ll be happy to care for you virtually in the interim.
We also require that our patients come alone, unless a caregiver or other accompanying guest has been pre-authorized.
When you arrive, you should text or call the office to tell us where you are parked. We will come out to your car (with a parking pass) and take your temperature to ensure there is no sign of a fever. At that point, our practitioner will escort you to your treatment room. You will be required to wear a face mask over your nose and mouth at all times (we can provide you one if needed whenever you are in the building).
All payments will be done on-line, either beforehand in our new appointment system, or afterwards. Your credit card information is safely stored in our new appointment system, which has the highest level of security available.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Alchemy Healing Center staff will also be adhering to strict procedures, including having their temperature taken, signing a health declaration before each shift, wearing face masks in the center, and following new cleaning and safety guidelines. To that end, we have enhanced our already stringent cleaning and safety protocols. This is all to lessen any stress you may have about coming to the Alchemy Healing Center if you choose to have you appointment in-person.
If you haven’t seen us for some time, we encourage you to have a virtual consultation before coming in. That way, we can minimize your time in our center while giving you plenty of time to share how you are feeling and update your practitioner on your current health status.
